The IRS has postponed the Start of the Tax Filing Season to January 30, 2013. This has been largely due to the new tax laws enacted after December 31, 2012 and has forced the IRS to need the extra time to revise some of their filing forms. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the 120 million households who expect to submit their returns with 2 less weeks.
